Working Principle of FG100P2

The FG100P2 operates on the proven worm drive principle. The rotation of the connected machinery's shaft drives a worm gear inside the limit switch. This rotates a set of two cams. Each cam is independently adjustable, allowing you to precisely set the upper and lower stopping points for your equipment.

When a travel limit is reached, the cam triggers its associated electrical contact (NO or NC), which interrupts the motor circuit and stops the machine.
